I crash-landed into fully trusting God when I finally gave up searching for my own direction, and asked God for it. I was done carefully crafting a plan, only for it to fall short and never reach completion. I recognized that His blueprint for my life was infinitely more profound and perfect than anything I could envision. The evidence lay in the fact that my life, which I hadn’t orchestrated, turned out to be exactly what I needed. As I began to invite His presence into my all-encompassing life plan, a steadily growing peace began to take over my life.

I encircle my home with signs so that no matter where my vision lands, I am encouraged by the reflections of His faithfulness, that remind me of His character and promises. Having hopeful assurances align my walls, helps calm me down when I begin contemplating what the future holds.
